Manwe: This is a our 3rd MusicDisk (after "SandS95" and "Silmarill") and second in this year... and first disk in House style. By the way, my favorite style is rock'n'roll and 75% of my CDs and tapes is "The Beatles"... "WHY HOUSE?!!" you ask. So the story begins... I don't like to make songs that use more then 10 channels (6 is optimal, I think), because some people have 8bitSB or COVOX :) And it is true. So any 16-channel S3M would be playing with 4bit samples per channel. If you have 16bit sound card, same S3M would be playing with 12bit samples - better then 4bit ofcourse but not CD-quality. More then 14-channel S3Ms are playing wrong on GUS (with ST3). But main reason is following: it is better for a musician to write music in 2, 4 or 6 (8 maximum) channels. If you don't understand why, look at 2-channel S3Ms by Purple Motion (4-channel MODs by him goes too). Best training for skill-up, i think. But Real doesn't care about it :( He's done some House-style S3Ms with 16 channels and 4-8 patterns... I don't quite like House in particular, but the low-quality SandS production I don't like MORE... So I try to arranged some of Real's songs and he was enjoyed it. The first and last Real's track arranged by me and released by SandS is "Way In Dream". So we started to write music together (not just arranged by me, but in fact composed together). Some words about Tarh: he is a cool coder and nice musician, but he doesn't have much time to make many songs. So he helps me to write my music and his ideas and his parts of our tunes are interesting and original. About SnowCat: He really hate Rave and House :) so you won't find his tracks on this disk. ============================================================================== Call Times BBS for more products from TheSandS: (095)499-4106 (01:00-08:00) 2&&& jj@ >YMwO5' 'T^ ' &=.;5a33"am53' M,3u3 ;f}3 533> JJ$5'.
